I started using compila about three years ago. I was having quite a few issues with the hosting companies I was using and was looking for a company that could offer me a great price, great support and the packages to match.

As a web developer, it was important for me to partner with a hosting company that I could trust as I had already experienced some real awful service and hideous downltime, which was causing me alot of problems with my customers.

Compila proved to me very quickly that they were the right partner for me and I now host of 100 websites with them. In fact, everytime I build a new website, they are always my first port of call. I can honestly say that I wouldnt dream of using anyone else. They are best for price, service and uptime; therefore, my clients are happy, I am happy and my pocket is happy. What more could anyone want.

They’re a cheap host, but their customer service is, without a shred of hyperbole, the absolute worst I’ve ever come across online or offline. When things go wrong with the server (which happens increasingly frequently) their emails are vague and poorly written at best, confusing and misleading at worst.

I know of other people who’ve hosted with Compila, and their experiences are very similar: as long as things are going smoothly, everything is as standard, but the second even the tiniest thing goes wrong, it’s a massive pain to try and get things working smoothly.

Of course things are going to go wrong with any host from time to time, but with Compila it’s the same problems time and time again, and they make it hugely time-consuming and irritating to get anything resolved, leading to unacceptable levels of downtime and refusal by Compila to acknowledge any responsibility.

Check their terms and conditions carefully - their supposed guarantees aren’t worth the paper they’re written on, and have more get-out clauses than you can shake a stick at.

For the price, you wouldn’t expect Compila to provide the best quality service in the world, but you would expect it to be head and shoulders above what they do provide. Avoid like the plague.

i had to move my website after alot of problems with my last hosting company so after alot of research I decided to give Compila a go and I am now so glad I did. From day one the guys have been nothing but helpful answering my MANY questions and doing most of the leg work. I’d always had trouble with the mySQL with my last host (who were an awful lot more expensive considering the lack of help I got from them) the servers were always dreadfully slow and they seemed constantly down leaving me with major problems in taking customer orders but I have had no such problems with Compila.

I’d recommend them to all new or existing businees. If you are looking for reliability at a great price with brilliant customer service I’d say Compila are the ones to go to. I’ve been online now for 11 months and I have not had one problem with this site. I’m extremely happy

Very frustrating that Compila does not have telephone support available in the evenings and weekend. Do problems only occur Mon-Fri 9-5?

Online ticket support? Well no good when their replies are sent to your email address and that’s the very problem…you cannot receive emails! Cannot even access them on my CPanel.

Cannot believe this has happened three times in the past week.
